Scheduling Issues

 

From the start of pre-production, our group knew that we wanted to have a scene with a police officer going onto the scene. We felt this would be a pretty good way to start the film off, as it truly brings the seriousness of what was going on. There was an issue with this plan though ... we had to find a car to use. 

At first, Aaliyah's mother got in contact with an officer that was going to let us film their vehicle for our project. We were planning on doing this around March 17th. The officer and the other members of our group had pretty conflicting schedules and it got to a point where we had to cancel this idea entirely. We were pretty upset by this, but somehow we got extremely lucky and found another car. Aaliyah's boyfriend's father has an undercover patrol car so we were able to use this.

We went to Xander's (the boyfriend) house and used the car to record the scene. We managed to film everything in the end, but still this conflict was pretty scary.
